Bedlam Fringe Workshops
Bedlam has played a big role in the development of many young people's skills in (as well as their love of) theatre. In celebration, this Fringe we are offering a specially crafted selection of workshops on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Each is run by performers on our programme and the programme of Heroes of Fringe, who we've partnered up with this year.
Magic Objeck by Lucy Hopkins
Lucy Hopkins is an internationally touring, award-winning clown, director and teacher. Come let her teach you how to open your twelfth sight and unlock the hidden meaning in the bits of stuff we carry around with us every day. No previous psychic experience required.
Mind Reading for Improvisers by The Improverts
Learn to impress your friends with your masterful intuition. The Improverts are the Edinburgh Fringe's longest running improv show. In this workshop they will give an insight into their trademark fast paced shortform improv games.
Move It! by Theatre Movement Bazaar
Theatre Movement Bazaar is a company dedicated to creating original performance works with an emphasis on physical action. This workshop will be run by the company's Artistic Director, Tina Kronis, and will focus on Physical Actor Training and the Performance Practices of Theatre Movement Bazaar.
Standing Out in Stand-Up by Helen Duff
Comedy award-winning, critically acclaimed and socially conscious comedian/clown/actress Helen Duff will run a workshop on weacing clowning and improv into stand up.
Theatre for the Fringe by Martin Murphy
